Interview Answers
1) Do you think the new uniform policy is a good idea and why?
It would be an ok idea, becuase it would be more uniform and unbiased.
2) Why do you think dress codes are important/unimportant for our campuses?
So nobody is wearing anything inappropriate to school and we are more focased on our studies.
3) How do you think student will respond to the new uniform policy?
They will probably rebel because it is a sudden change and were not used to it.
4) How do you think the uniform should be enforced?
I guess maybe like you would have to slowly change what the students are wearing so they can get used to it.
5) Who do you think be excpected to enforce it?
Teachers amd staff so that teachers can tell them about it.
6) How would you want to communicate the specifics of the uniform to students?

7) Why do you think students should care about this?
I guess to make us a more uniformed school, and make it a safer place for students.
8) What do you think should happen to a student if they are not following the uniform?
Get a first warning and then a parent warning and then a referal
9) Should retribution be equal across all AISD campuses?
Yes so students don't feel unfairly treated.
10) Do you think clothes are a form of personal expression and why?
I do think that it is a form of personal expression because when you are feeling bad you wear more baggy clothing.
11) Do you think that the uniform limits that experession and why?
It would limit the expression because everyone would have to wear the same thing and students wouldn't be able to express how they feel everyday.
12) Why should teachers care about the uniform?
Because then students will have a more focased environment.
13) Why should parents care about the uniform?
They would feel like no one would bully each other because they can't really say anything about it, it would make them feel safer.
14) Do you think this uniform will impact students lives and why?
It will impact students lives because they will feel more engergized everyday because they will not have to choose and outfit.
15) Where do you think this new dresscode should be inforced? (classrooms hallways courtyard?)
Classrooms if someone had hot pink hair you would notice and be distracted.
16) Did you think a dress code was an issue before you heard about this?
Most likely because their are some students that wear very showy clothing that may make some students uncomfortable at school.
17) Do you think the district should be spending their time on issuses with the dress code and why?
They should because sometimes students don't want to wear things that are uncomfortable and they should be able to wear something comfortable.
18) What other issues could they be spending their time on rather than what students are wearing?
Education and the things that surround us like safety.
19) Do you think religious clothing should be mentioned in the uniform policy and why?
Yes they should be allowed to wear their religous clothing because it's something thats personal.
20) On a scale of 1-10 how much do you care about this issue and why?
5 because even though dress codes are normallu something that students don't like to follow

I fell accomplished and honoered that i am able to take on this role.

Math because it's one of the subjects i am best at becuase it's easy, fun, and interesting.

Photography because it's a way i can express myself throught photos.

I like to go on walks, run, and lay in bed.

My friends and family and my boyfriend.
7) Who ispires you?
My mom because shes a hard worker and she loves me.
8) Is higher education important to you?
Yes, because if your able to go to college ou should go to college.
9) What do you plan to do in the future?
I plan on definatley going to college but i want to take a break year to travel and experience things outside of texas.
10) What did you do over spring break?
I went to california, disney land, and i went to el paso which was my home town.
11) What is one of your favorite memories from this school year?
The football games because they were really exciting.
12) What do you look forward to doing during the summer?
driving to places cause i'll offically be lisenced, maybe take long road trips.
13) Are you excited to be a junior and why?
Yes because next year i am in aquatic science and an off period that i am looking forward.
14) What was one of your favorite school event this year?
Homecoming we made the most of a boring school event

I want to move to california and live on the beach.
