Self-portrait vs. Selfie
What is a selfie?
A more casual, spur of the moment, self portrait that can have many people featured in it. Its generally used to capture yourself with others or something in the background with yourself. They can be taken just with a phone or holding a camera in-front of your face.
What is a self-portrait?
The difference is the circumstances under which the photo was taken. Selfies are casual and self portraits are formal and planned.
What style do you prefer? Why?
I don't generally prefer one style over the other, I like both in different ways. I like selfies because they can capture a quick moment and I like self portraits because they show who you are.
Is one more valuable/important than the other? Why?
Both have good traits like self portraits are good for self expression and selfies are better for capturing everyday moments. They are not necessarily more important than each other they're just different.
What is the website intention?
To show off peoples photos, hold photo contests, and have tutorials.
What do they write about?
Different photography related things like taking pictures in a plane, and why you should do unpaid photography.
What can an average viewer get out of going to that website?
Read interesting articles, learn about types of photography, and see some great photos.

I guess I could if I had time to look at it in class.
