Sensory Overload

1) I think it's an interesting statement to make after photographing all those material things. I do agree with this statement because we all have favorite things that we hold on to and lots of material items in our lives. This makes me think about my photos in a different way because they sort of are our possesions that we are attached to even if they aren't physical items. 2) I would want to visit this place because it looks very interesting, but maybe not photograph because theres so much going on and so many subjects in each little section, it'd be hard to get a clear composition. 3) I think it would be an awesome almost magical place because theres all these colors and toys and other cool things it just seems really interesting. 4) My favorite photo is the one with the stuffed animals. The toys are everywhere, on shelves, hanging from the ceiling, and on the ground. It's so jam packed full of all these familiar charcters like mario, frozen, shaun the sheep, l

It takes place in India and the Himalayas . I liked this location a lot because of all the great opprtunities to take pictures. It was really cool to see all the different places acros

What is a selfie?  A more casual, spur of the moment, self portrait that can have many people featured in it. Its generally used to capture yourself with others or something in the background with yourself. They can be taken just with a phone or holding a camera in-front of your face. What is a self-portrait?  A formal thought out photograph of oneself to represent oneself through the composition. They are more planned than selfies and usually just have oneself rather than multiple people. Self portraits tend to be taken using a timer and a tripod. Is there a difference? If so, what?  T he difference is the circumstances under which the photo was taken. Selfies are casual and self portraits are formal and planned. What style do you prefer? Why? I don't generally prefer one style over the other, I like both in different ways. I like selfies because they can capture a quick moment and I like self portraits because they show who you are. Is one more valuable/important than th

Intro to Newspaper

What is your favorite newspaper front page? Why? My favorite newspaper front page was the star press paper. I liked it because the colorful graphic on the front was really eye catching when paired with the title of the article. What is your favorite headline from that newspaper? Why are you interested in it? My favorite headline was "condo's to replace school, but plans fuzzy" I think paired with the graphic it was attention grabbing as is the headline itself. How many stories are on the front page of your favorite? 5 headlines What do you notice that all newspaper front pages have in common? Look at design, size of photos, size of story text, etc. Bolded font headlines, lots of text completely filling the page, as well as some sort of logo to represent the newspaper. What are things that vary (or are different) on the front pages of different newspapers? Look at design, size of photos, size of headlines, etc. Font's, amount of color, number of pictures, siz
