Yesterday at 8:12 a.m. A quake struck San Francisco, California in the Bay Area Monday morning. The quake killed two people and injured six others at McHenry’s Aust supply located at 2342 Plum St. Their names are being withheld until families are notified, according to Jennifer Vu, a public information officer for the Hayward Fire Department. The quake had a magnitude of 6.4 on the Richter Scale and Mike Beamer, who lives across the street from McHenry’s said, “I was eating my breakfast when the room started rolling. I dove under the table just as I heard an explosion outside and a chunk of cement flew through my kitchen window. That’s when the screaming started across the street”. Using ropes to stabilize the auto shop, Hayward firefighters conducted a search and while they were there they found a gas leak at the site. 1) Do you think the new uniform policy is a good idea and why? It would be an ok idea, becuase it would be more uniform and unbiased. 2) Why do you think dress codes are important/unimportant for our campuses?
